With their fifth studio album 'Arirang', BTS has dominated both domestic and international weekly charts.
As reported by Hanteo Chart on the 30th, BTS's latest album 'Arirang' secured the top position on both the weekly world chart and album chart for the period of March 23-29. Impressively, it reached this status just three days after its release on March 20 and continued to hold the number one spot for two weeks in a row.

Based on a preview article from Billboard, published on the 30th, 'Arirang' has claimed the top spot on the 'Billboard 200' (April 4 edition). It entered the chart with an impressive 641,000 album units sold, which represents the highest weekly performance for a group album since unit tracking was implemented in December 2014. Specifically, 532,000 of these were pure album sales, encompassing both physical and digital formats. This achievement marks a new record for the highest weekly sales of a group album in more than ten years.
BTS's influence extends to global music charts as well. They have swept the weekly rankings on Spotify, a major global audio and music streaming platform, for the week of March 20-26. This includes topping the 'Weekly Top Albums', 'Weekly Top Songs', and 'Weekly Top Artists' global charts. The album's title track, 'SWIM', claimed the number one position on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global', while all 14 album tracks secured places within the top 30.
The track 'SWIM' maintained its leading position on Spotify's 'Daily Top Songs Global' and Apple Music's 'Top 100 Global' for 9 and 7 consecutive days, respectively, from March 20-28 and March 23-29. Furthermore, all the album tracks have been consistently featured on the latest charts of both platforms. Even ten days post-release, the entire album continues to captivate listeners worldwide, attesting to the global fanbase's adoration.
In parallel, BTS is set to host the 'BTS WORLD TOUR 'ARIRANG'' at the Goyang Sports Complex Main Stadium in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, on April 9, 11, and 12. They will also perform stadium concerts across South America in October, visiting countries such as Colombia, Peru, Argentina, Chile, and Brazil. All 46 scheduled performances, including those in Goyang, North America, Europe, and Tokyo, Japan, have sold out in advance, underlining their powerful ticket-selling capability.
